As we observe Rosh HaShanna this year, we should remember that it was “ordained for Joseph in a testimony” and the prophetic revelation of the Stick of Joseph at Rosh HaShanna of 1827.
The Fall of Adam account in the Stick of Joseph offers us a profound testimony to its authenticity as an ancient Jewish document. In this post, we’ll consider unique teachings from Jewish tradition reflected in the Stick of Joseph teachings about the fall of Adam and Eve.
This miracle has an amazing parallel in a Jewish tradition concerning another water-going vessel—Noach’s ark—and how it was lit when it was sealed shut.
These Isaiah excerpts are uniquely interesting because they show clear signs of descending from the ancient scribal tradition of the Book of Isaiah. In some cases, the Brass Plates versions of Isaiah differ from the standard Masoretic text found in modern Bibles…when the Brass Plates version differs from the Masoretic (Biblical) text, the Brass Plates version often proves to match other ancient sources better than the current Biblical text does.
Avinodi’s visit to the court of King Noach, in which he pleaded for them to repent of their iniquity, seems to have occurred at Shavuot. At this Shavuot even, Avinodi gave Noach a beautiful drash, that tied the giving of the ten commandments to the coming of the Messiah.

The Stick of Joseph account of Yeshua’s immersion includes certain, specific details not found in the New Testament, and unknown at the time of Yosef ben Yosef. This is a profound testimony to the authenticity of the Stick of Joseph as an ancient Jewish document.

According to Christian tradition, Yeshua was crucified on a Friday commemorated as “Good Friday.” But scripture tells a different story–and the Stick of Joseph aligns with scripture, rather than long-standing Christian tradition.
